This is a good place to call if you need advice of photographic equipment. Not always the cheapest but very reliable.

 

Amazon.com, can also have some very good values on photo equipment not to mention photography books. I also look first here for travel books and books about great scenic locations.

 

BuyDig.com has some of the very best prices for digital cameras. I have bought two digital cameras from them at prices lower than anywhere else and have not been disappointed.

 

Every Price.com is a good shopping guide when you want to compare prices on digital cameras and other electronic equipment.

 

Digital Photography Review is hands down the best place to get reviews of digital cameras.

 

Short Courses: This site has all kinds of short courses on how to buy, use and equip a digital camera. There is lots of good information here.

 

National Weather Service: The best weather info available. I use it constantly when headed for the mountains.

 

Reserve USA: the best online place to reserve a campsite. This includes all the Forest Service Campsites. It works very well nation wide.

 

Teton Tree House: a really wonderful bed and breakfast in Jackson Hole Wyoming, near the Tetons. This is owned by a very old friend of mine, Denny Becker, who is the world's best innkeeper.

 

Photography.com: There is lots of educational material on this site like articles, courses, advice, pictures etc on how to be a better photographer.

 

Ink Jet Art Company: If you print your pictures with an ink jet printer this is the place to buy supplies. They have the best prices and advice anywhere on the subject of ink jet printing.

Net Flix: You probably already know this one, but if you don't, it's a great place to rent movies on the web. If you like good movies, film, cinema this is good place to rent lots of movies a a good price.

 

Wilhelm Imaging Research: This is the #1 site for checking the archival life of all kinds of photographic products. If you want to see how long a photograph printed on any photographic paper or on any ink jet paper with whatever ink set, this is the place to go. Wilhelm has been the number one authority in this field for fifteen years.

 

Four Wheel Drive Adventures in the San Juan Mountains: This is a great website with maps and instructions for driving some of the gorgeos four wheel drive roads of Colorado for easy to very difficult.
